Quarantined. No Better Time To Read The Bible ALL The Way Through.

Updated: Apr 14, 2020

Have you ever desired to know and understand the Bible? Here is a great way to do it with FREE helpful guidance all the way through it. If you are a follower of Jesus, don't be intimidated just set your heart to learn. The Bible CAN be understood without going to seminary. In fact, you will have the very best teacher. "But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ." [1 John 2:27]

True discipleship is missing within much of the Church today. Many new believers start their journey of faith without encouragement to go deeper in the Word, to get off of the baby bottle and learn how to eat meat. The Apostle Paul planted a church and came back to them frustrated saying "There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right." [Heb 5:11-13] Your relationship with the Lord goes far beyond just a belief in His existence and His Grace over your past sins. The Word of God is your very life source. "These instructions are not empty words—they are your life!" [Deut 32:47]

Jesus has made two critical promises:

  1. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." [Heb 11:6]

  2. "If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me." [Jer 29:13]

We are living in a time when it's vital to know the Word of God for ourselves, and not simply rely on what someone else tells us it says. When the Apostle Paul was preaching to the Jews in Berea the Bible says "They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth." [Acts 17:11]

Then, Paul warned that in the last days it would become more difficult to hear and know truth.

He said, "For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear." [2 Tim 4:3]

Jesus said, "The word which I spoke, that will judge him in the last day." [John 12:48]
